Ms. Walker, Vice President of Hannah Marketing Group and Guest Research Inc., has over 20 years of experience in the area of sales and marketing, 15 of which have been in the hospitality industry. Her areas of expertise include sales planning, sales management (including sales systems, customer profiling and targeting and telemarketing) and sales training and executive search.
Ms. Walker began her hospitality career in Wisconsin serving as a Regional Sales Manager for Bergstrom Hotels, an independently-owned hotel chain.
Before entering the hospitality industry, Ms. Walker was a Sales Manager for a major food brokerage located in Denver, Colorado. In that capacity, she was responsible for selling and marketing a variety of nationally-branded products.
Prior to joining Hannah Marketing Group as Senior Consultant, Ms. Walker served as the Director of Sales for The Vail Cascade Hotel & Club, a four-star/four-diamond resort. In that capacity, she oversaw the successful conversion of the resort from a Westin franchise to an independent, and its subsequent upward repositioning. She directed a staff of nine sales managers and telemarketers and two sales offices.
Ms. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Business Administration in hotel management from the University of Denver.
